Misty earned her Bachelor’s degree in Addiction Counseling with a minor in Trauma and Recovery from Washburn University. In addition to her professional training and experience, she brings her own lived experience of multigenerational addiction and recovery to her counseling practice.  Misty understands that recovery is a complex and highly individual process, not a single event or a straight line of progress, and she seeks to meet clients wherever they happen to be on their own journey of growth and change.
